Mike
Our Head Coach, Mike Lang, originally hails from St. John’s, Newfoundland. Coincidentally, Mike competed for Nfld at the 1981 Canada Games here in Thunder Bay. Mike is a level three nationally certified coach, a level two coach trainer, and is heavily involved with the sport both provincially and nationally. He has coached many divers to national medal performances and NCAA scholarships. He has coached successfully in Nfld, Saskatchewan, and now here in Thunder Bay, finishing his teams consistently amongst the top in Canada. Mike coached Team Saskatchewan to a best-ever fourth place finish at the 1997 Canada Games in Brandon. Mike came to Thunder Bay in the fall of 1998 and, in his time with us, has overseen the complete overhaul of the team and the equipment at the Canada Games Complex. Mike is very optimistic about the future of the Thunder Bay Diving Club.
Tiff
Originally from Delhi, Ontario, Tiffany graduated from the Recreation and Leisure Services Program at Confederation College in 2005 before training under Mike Lang and Justin Jankowski to become a competitive diving coach. Tiffany has wanted to work with children her whole life and had spent the previous 6 years, before moving to Thunder Bay as a skating instructor with children ages 3-15. Tiffany has been involved in competitive sports since the age of 3 when she began taking a Tap and Jazz class for ages 8 and up. Since then she has competed in Ballet, Gymnastics, Skating, Synchronized Skating, Baseball, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Track and Cross-Country Running. 
Heather
Our pre-competitive coach, Heather Chisholm was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario. She moved to Thunder Bay in 2001 to pursue post secondary education at Lakehead University. In 2006, Heather graduated Lakehead with and Honours degree in English and Bachelor of Education degree. She has also completed her Masters of Education degree. Heather became interested in diving while training lifeguards and swimming instructors at the Canada Games Complex. This is her second year coaching diving for the Thunder Bay Diving Club; she is looking forward to being a part of the growth and success of the club.
Jill
Thunder Bay native Jill Ferguson has been involved in diving for over nine years. Jill is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, who is taking this year to focus on her diving in hopes to attain an athletic scholarship. She joined the Thunder Bay Diving Club as an athlete in 1999 and has been diving ever since. Jill brings over six years of coaching experience to her position as the Tornadoes coach. She looks forward to another successful season.
